HiveMind publishes 140 gallons on its own site. O’Fallon Brewery has 100 barrels attached to it, shown greyed because it reached us through a third party rather than the brewery’s own site. The other three publish nothing.

One US beer barrel is 31 gallons. A hundred barrels is 3,100 gallons — on the order of 1,300 cases of twenty-four 12 oz cans, though the exact figure depends entirely on the pack format. Read casually as “100”, it looks like one of the smallest minimums in the country. It is not.
Breweries quote in barrels because that is how a brewhouse is measured. Beverage brands think in cases because that is how retail is sold. Almost every mistake we have had to correct in this database lives in the space between those two units.
So we publish the unit the facility used, never a conversion of our own. The one exception on this page is HiveMind, who did the arithmetic themselves — 140 gallons, they say, is about 1,500 twelve-ounce cans. That is their figure, not ours. Everywhere else, ask the plant to restate it in cases of your pack size before you plan anything around it.
Kansas City Beverage sits on the western edge, O’Fallon Brewery in Maryland Heights on the St. Louis side. Charleville is in Sainte Genevieve, an hour south of St. Louis, and H2O Technologies bottles artesian water in Potosi. HiveMind is the outlier, in Bolivar, out in the southwest near Springfield.
For a long time this state was two metropolitan areas four hours apart with nothing between them. HiveMind changes that a little, and it is also the only plant here aimed squarely at small runs.
Kansas City Beverage covers the broadest category range — water, soda, juice, energy, tea, cider, beer, spirits and wine as a private-label manufacturer — and publishes no formats or minimums at all.
O’Fallon’s 100 barrels is not their published figure. It reached us through a third-party source. Treat it as an indication and ask the brewery to confirm the current minimum, in the unit you sell in.
H2O Technologies has no website we could resolve. The listing was verified through local press and a Missouri Grown directory. If they are your closest option, confirm that they still take third-party work before anything else.
