5 co-packers, 2 published minimums

Published minimums first, then the rest alphabetically. One facility on this list has stopped taking new clients — it stays here because it's still operating, but don't plan around it.

The pattern

Cider and craft, packaged where you already are

Oregon's list splits cleanly. On one side, Tinman Mobile Canning brings the line to your site rather than asking you to ship liquid. Craft Canning + Bottling, which says it pioneered mobile canning in the West, now only prints cans, so it no longer appears on this list.

On the other, 4 fixed plants spanning very different scales: Portland Bottling running up to 1,450 cans a minute out of a plant that predates Prohibition, and Swift Cider taking single 30-barrel lots at the opposite end.

The practical read: Oregon is one of the better states for a small alcohol producer. Two published minimums, both in the low hundreds of barrels or gallons, plus a mobile canner for anyone already fermenting on-site.

Why this page is different

2 of 5, and one publishes a whole ladder

Across the 234 facilities we track nationally, about one in six publishes a minimum. Oregon publishes 2 of 5 — comfortably above the national rate, and better than neighbouring California, which has 46 facilities and publishes 6 minimums.

Full Sail is unusual in publishing not one figure but three: single lot, monthly recurring, quarterly. Most facilities that publish anything publish only the floor.

A facility that publishes its commitment ladder — not just its floor — is telling you what an ongoing relationship costs, not just the price of admission.

Before you call

Three things worth reading twice

SOMA Kombucha is not taking new clients. It's still operating, so it stays on this list, but don't build a plan around it without confirming that's changed.

Full Sail's 200 barrels is the single-lot figure. If you want recurring production, the published numbers rise to 400 bbl monthly or 1,200 bbl quarterly — ask which tier applies before assuming 200 is your ongoing commitment.

Swift Cider charges $150 for a specific quote. Unusual, and worth knowing before you enquire — most facilities quote free.
